Up-cycled Art Hat Workshop With Nancy Judd

A great opportunity for young artists to learn from an accomplished textile artist!

Join us in welcoming internationally known visiting artist Nancy Judd, of Recycle Runway, who creates couture fashion sculptures made from trash to stimulate conversation, action and education about how we live on the planet. For this unique and fun workshop that combines art, fashion and eco-consciousness, she will lead participants in creating beautiful and fun hats from waste materials collected in our community.  This class is suitable for participant over the age of 8.

Class date: Saturday, November 11
Class time: 10:00am – 4:00pm

The workshop will begin at 10am with a presentation by the artist. Following, participants will engage with materials creating their own work of art.

All supplies and lunch are included!

Possible materials you can bring but everything will be on hand: brown bags, alternative milk cartons, bottle caps, tissue paper, plastic woven bags, etc!
