"Meet Me At The Museum"
“Meet Me at the Museum” is a program in which those suffering from the effects of Alzheimer's or dementia and their care givers will participate in art viewing and making. Engagement with art can allow for self-expression, intellectual stimulation, and social interaction for older adults, including individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia.
Our guided tours and art-making sessions are based on methods that have been proven to stimulate cognitive activity and increase socialization in those suffering the effects of Alzheimer’s and dementia.
