The Alexandria Museum of Art is a contemporary art museum with incredible spaces to host your next special event. Our galleries offer spacious areas to accommodate events of any size. Our venue is distinctive and appropriate for many types of occasions including corporate retreats, luncheons, lectures, dinners, cocktail parties, bridal showers, weddings, receptions and more. Celebration Package- $3,500

Designed for weddings or other life celebrations where clients want to add extensive personal touches and have numerous vendors arriving for their celebration, this package provides ample time for decorating, ensures exclusive use of the gallery, and allows ample time for rehearsals, photography, and other celebration needs over the course of a 2-day period.

Third Floor- up to 100 guests

Preceding Day of Rental: Set-up rehearsal time from 12:00 pm - museum close (normal business hours)

Day of Rental: All day access to kitchen and third floor preceding wedding or celebration, beginning at 10am. Celebration must end by 10pm, and all guests, vendors, etc. should be out of the building by 11pm. *If celebration occurs on a Sunday, extra fees will be incurred.

Included in Rental: Consults as needed. Use of museum furniture, including tables, chairs, black table cloths, kitchen and appliances, service carts and elevators for prep and catering use. Furniture set-up and breakdown. Acceptance of deliveries from vendors. Event security.

Additional Rental Options:

  • Additional Hour After Hours w/security- $300
  • Additional Hour During Business Hours- $200
  • Access to Additional Gallery for cocktail hour/guest perusal- $200 per hour

Museum Mixer Package- $2,500

Designed for private or corporate events where clients are looking for a low-input, but high impact setting. Capitalize on the beauty of the museum and let the collection shine as the standout décor of your event.

First or Third Floor- up to 100 guests

Day of Rental: Same-day access to gallery preceding event, beginning as early as 10am. Décor and vendors may arrive on site in the 4 hours preceding the event. Event must end by 10pm, and all guests, vendors, etc. should be out of the building by 11pm. *If event occurs on a Sunday, extra fees will be incurred.

Included in Rental: Consults as needed. Use of museum furniture, black tablecloths, including tables, chairs, kitchen and appliances, service carts and elevators for prep and catering use. Furniture set-up and breakdown. Acceptance of deliveries from vendors. Event security.

Additional Rental Options:

  • Black Tablecloths- $10 each
  • Additional Hour After Hours w/security- $300
  • Additional Hour During Business Hours- $100
  • Access to Additional Gallery for cocktail hour/guest perusal- $200 per hour

Corporate Retreat Package- $2,500 per day

Designed for corporate retreats where clients are looking for spaces for meetings, team building activities, lunch, and breaks throughout a day or multi-day time period.

Multi-Area Access- up to 40 participants

Day of Rental: All-day access (10am-5pm) to third floor gallery set up with screen, podium, and microphone, beginning as early as 10am. Access to café and patio area for lunch, media room available for small, breakout sessions, and first floor gallery available for perusal during breaks.

Included in Rental: Consults as needed. Use of museum furniture, including tables, chairs, black tablecloths, kitchen and appliances, service carts and elevators for prep and catering use. Furniture set-up and breakdown. Acceptance of deliveries from vendors.

Additional Rental Options:

  • Additional Hour Before/After Hours w/security- $300
  • Additional Art Activity or Guided Tour lead by Museum Staff- pricing available upon request
  • Evening Event at the Museum- pricing available upon request

Petite Party Package- $1,500

Designed for intimate celebrations where clients are looking for a low-input, but high impact setting for a small group. Capitalize on the beauty of the museum and let the collection shine as the standout décor of your event.

Café/Patio Area or Third Floor Overlook Gallery- up to 40 guests

Day of Rental: Same-day access to gallery preceding event, beginning as early as 10am. Décor and vendors may arrive on site in the 4 hours preceding the event. Event must end by 10pm, and all guests, vendors, etc. should be out of the building by 11pm. *If event occurs on a Sunday, extra fees will be incurred.

Included in Rental: Consults as needed. Use of museum furniture, black tablecloths, including tables, chairs, kitchen and appliances, service carts and elevators for prep and catering use. Furniture set-up and breakdown. Acceptance of deliveries from vendors. Event security.

Small Team Retreat Package- $1,000 per day

Designed for small team retreats where clients are looking for an intimate meeting space, lunch space, and areas for breaks throughout a day or multi-day time period.

Multi-Area Access- up to 20 participants

Day of Rental: All-day access (10am-5pm) to Media Room beginning as early as 10am. Access to café and patio area for lunch, and first floor and third floor galleries available for perusal during breaks.
