Youth Art Month Competition

The Call for Entry is OPEN NOW!

All children in grades K-12 that live in Rapides Parish are eligible to enter for FREE. Prizes and awards will be presented for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Places and Honorable Mention in each of the competition categories: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12. A Viewer’s Choice Award will also be presented. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Awards will also be presented to all grade levels for those who participate in the Gifted and Talented programs and students who receive Special Education instruction.

The Youth Art Month Competition Exhibition will be on display at the Alexandria Museum of Art, opening  March 9  and stay on display until April 10, 2024.

Deadline to Enter: Monday, January 31, 2024, midnight.

Parents, guardians and/or caregivers may submit an entry on behalf of a student. Students 18 years and older can submit an entry on their own behalf. Teachers must obtain permission to enter on behalf of student.
