ABOUT THE ARTIST

Artist Notes

This piece is a mixed media painting done on part of an Army canvas shelter half (pup tent), Ibelieve It was also made some time between 2000 and 2005 in her home studio on Kimball Avenue in Alexandria. It has a flying heartsewn into the middle of the triangular surface and adorned or decorated with paint, glitter and pieces of fabric. I’m not sure but Ithink it was created to be part of an installation piece that was never completed. I would call it “Untitled Flying Heart,” and wouldprice it somewhere between $700 and $500.
