Cindy Blair
Manager of Virtual Engagement and Education
Cindy Blair joined the Museum in 2012 as AMoA’s Artist-in-Residence. She joined the staff full-time in 2013 as an art educator. Cindy managed several education programs, including Art2Go, The Muse: Teen Club, Saturday Family Art Classes, Meet Me at the Museum, and writes curriculum for Art Express and Journeys & Visions tours. Before relocating to Louisiana, she was a substitute teacher for schools in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx, New York. She also served as the head teacher of Pratt Institute’s Saturday Art School. In that position, she taught children ages 3-5 the foundations of art through storytelling. Cindy holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Louisiana State University, a Master of Fine Arts from Albany State University, and an advanced certificate for art and design education from Pratt Institute.
