Concrete & Adrift: On the Poverty Line
An invitational exhibition featuring regional and national contemporary artists addressing poverty and homelessness.
Poverty and homelessness are often underrepresented and misunderstood topics in our society today, and are issues that everyone likely sees more often than they realize. On view in conjuction with Sordid and Sacred: The Beggars in Rembrandt’s Etchings, this juried exhibition will feature work by contemporary artists on the subjects of poverty and homelessness.
Through Concrete & Adrift, AMoA worked with contemporary artists to bring discussions of poverty and homelessness to the forefront. The exhibition was juried from regional and national submissions, and features a variety of media.
