Concrete & Adrift: On the Poverty Line

March 1st to June 22nd

Concrete & Adrift: On the Poverty Line

Featuring regional and national contemporary artists, this invitational exhibition addresses poverty and homelessness.

Poverty and homelessness are often underrepresented and misunderstood topics in our society today, and are issues that everyone likely sees more often than they realize. On view in conjuction with Sordid and Sacred: The Beggars in Rembrandt’s Etchings, this juried exhibition will feature work by contemporary artists on the subjects of poverty and homelessness.

Through Concrete & Adrift, AMoA will work with contemporary artists to bring discussions of poverty and homelessness to the forefront.  The exhibition will be juried from regional and national submissions and will feature a variety of media.
